That happen when you travel by plane. Ferry starts from Agios Konstantinos (1 1/2 h from Athens), stops in Skiathos and then continue to Skopelos port.

Hey!! Sorry for the late response. I didn’t realize until after editing that we drove from Athens to a ferry port on Evia island about 2-3 hours away at Mantoudi/Kymasi (the same place). You can book the bus route here: www.ktelevias.gr/en/ And then after that, you can book your ferry from Kymasi (on Evia island) to Skopelos on a ferry website! We booked ours via seajets! But there are other companies out there! Otherwise, if you fly, you’ll have to fly from Athens to Skiathos and then take the ferry to Skopelos from there! I hope this helps!!

Hi!! Yes, it was pretty easy! Once you buy your train tickets and show the people at the train station via email or print, you’re all good to go! I would just make sure to remember when your train is if you plan on going back to Athens the same day and make sure that you have transportation planned to get back down from the monasteries. We really winged it and so that part was a little stressful!

For the train, we paid 22.6 euros each way from Athens, but this was in 2021 so I’m guessing that it might have risen a little bit? We booked ours on hellenictrain.gr. Please let me know if you have any other questions! I know it can be hard navigating routes in Greece (I make my bf do it haha) so let me know!

Hi! We didn’t stay there (we booked an Airbnb by Mesakti beach), but I would say that Agios Kirykos is a great location as there are many restaurants and cafes around! It’s also super pretty to walk around without needing a car, and it’s pretty close to Seychelles beach as well. I hope this helped! 💙

Their Julys and August have been a little bit intense with the recent fires and climate change, but even then, people will have photo shoots. As long as you can seek some shade and stay hydrated you should be fine! Hope that helps! ❤
